Abstract

This document presents a qualitative study of the current state of the elementary education in the capital district of Bogota, considering aspects associated to the usage of technology in the classroom. The C4 project, led by Centro Atico and the District Secretary for Education, has collected an important amount of information regarding schools with extracurricular technology-based projects. This paper not only analyzes these projects, but also proposes a set of recommendations towards the appropriate use of technology in the classroom, with the goal of motivating our future engineers during an early stage.
