Abstract

Soft skills have shown to have an impact in the comprehensive education of individuals. The development of these skills has led people to stand out in different aspects during their life ́s pathways. Now a days soft skills are strongly taken in account in the selection process in the employment market. At the same time, these skills provide wellbeing of workers which help them in their day-to-day activities. In our environment, it is not clear which of these skills provide more in professional education and the pathway of individuals. In this qualitative study we interviewed Pontificia Universidad Javeriana ́s students and faculty in Bogotá, Colombia, to learn about their soft skill beliefs and everyday application and how these soft skills are developed to ease and improve que quality of life.
