Gestión de equipos en Pyme y su relevancia en la inserción y retención laboral. Aproximación teórica.

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

The research focused on a systematic review of team management in SMEs based
on a bibliometric analysis supported by the VOSViewer tool, identifying relevant
publications, influential authors, approaches and implications in the performance of
work teams in SMEs and the strategies used at the corporate level for labor retention.
For this purpose, two search equations were structured and applied in the Scopus
database: [1] TITLE-ABS-KEY "Team Management" OR "Human-resource
Management" AND "SME", and [2] TITLE-ABS-KEY "Employee Retention" OR "job
insertion" OR "job placement" OR "labor insertion" OR "labor market insertion" OR
"employability". The results reflect the importance of human resources management
for the achievement of objectives in SMEs, its contribution to process improvement
and value addition. However, some companies, when faced with crisis events, make
the mistake of immediately dismissing their collaborators without a comprehensive
analysis of the impact on the organization. Therefore, as a fundamental tool for
employee retention, it is essential to understand the organizational culture aligned
with the processes of empowerment and flexibility, training and performance, and
compensation mechanisms, variables that influence the improvement of team
management.
