Abstract
Drawing on the interpellations formulated regarding the need to go beyond the approaches developed to consider the phenomenon of the reflexivity of psychology, this article presents a series of conceptual prescriptions useful to analyze the constitution of subjectivity: a) decentering the psychological and the experience from a view of subjectivity as a closured internal question, b) a vision of the construction of psychologists as regards the strategies, levels and relationships that are possible thanks to, and for the reason of, psychology, and c) an eminently practical instance of the two previous ones which proposes that psychology is what psychologists do. Analysis of oral histories that inquired about the professional practice performed by psychologists who were pioneers in the dissemination of psychology are provided as evidence of the complex network of relationships, levels, temporalities, spaces that are involved in the production of subjectivity.
