Abstract

This study aimed to explore the characteristics of the cognitive framing of the political culture in Colombia in Twitter, based on the social and political psychology. It was made a theoretical and empirical research about framing, political culture and social networks. It was applied the multidimensional descriptive method, and the statistical texts analysis.7645 tweets were used, from four political leaders, five opinion leaders, and the top five answers of the users, finding that the political culture is framed by discourses directed to positive or negative conflict, referred to elite actors and social problems.
