Abstract
Dealing with the idea of “Imaginaries and religious mentalitiesof displaced persons”, the hypothesis of the centrality ofspirituality is here presented considering its absence. Somebroad elements about the subject are presented, and anarrative of the displaced is reconstructed. This leads to aformal reflection where the religious fact is viewed as nstitutional realization. This places spirituality in relation to theinstitutional mediations as a subject that acts in their midst.
