Abstract

This chapter analyzes a punk cassette titled Afueriando - Vandal Punk in the National Strike. The cassette, understood as a subaltern archive, compiles 25 songs that narrate stories from the punk scene, challenging repression and violence. The methodology includes lyric analysis and interviews with the cassette's compiler. Through this chapter, we argue that the punk song lyrics foreshadowed Colombia's national strike.
