Abstract

Currently, the issue of teleworking and working at home, has gained importance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused migration from the office to remote workplaces located in workers' homes. This paper, through a narrative review of the literature, aims to understand the implications of telecommuting and working at home on the health and productivity of individuals. The information was searched in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. In conclusion, the pandemic led to a more rapid transition to remote work, so more research is needed on the effect of this rapid change on the health and productivity of workers.
