Abstract

This article provides an account of some contributions of feminist theologies in the field of Pneumatology. It
begins by recognizing the limited attention given to this treatise and the subordination of the Holy Spirit within
Trinitarian dogma, as well as the relationship between this subordination and the consolidation of
androcentric and patriarchal traits in theology, which have led to the exclusion of women from spaces of grace
transmission in the Church. The feminist pneumatological proposal calls for an epistemic-methodological shift,
consisting of reversing the processual order of the traditional Trinitarian dogmatic perspective, in order to
develop its study starting from the Spirit-Ruah-Pneuma, offering a method more in tune with the experience
of faith and life among believers. The text proposes several metaphors and images of God in a feminist key,
emphasizing the concept of a God-Spirit of love, life, solidarity, and nosoteric (us-oriented) communion.
