Abstract
Community archives in the case of the Colombian Pacific have been converted into devices of resistance, in other words, into binding networks of practices, discourses, materialities and moral positions that respond to the social struggles of the present. The case of the Semillero Navegantes de la Memoria (NADELAM) in the city of Buenaventura, Colombia reports on a recovery process and rescue of personal files of social leaders belonging to processes for labor rights, water, the city, the territory and la vida. In this chapter we propose to reflect on this local initiative, understanding the archive as praxis at three levels: ethical, political and pedagogical.
