Abstract

The present article on catechetical action employs the methodological proposal of the theology of action in order to address the concrete and daily problems that occur in catechetical instruction in some parishes and in some educational institutions (catechesis in schools, by school grades and by age), particularly with presacramental catechesis in preparation for the celebration of the sacraments of Christian initiation of baptism. communion and confirmation. Using the methodology of the theology of action, in its phases, the aim is to highlight the topic of catechesis from the point of view of the subject of the action, that is, from the point of view of catechists as subjects of catechetical action. Next, in the analytical phase: the perceived reality will be examined in comparison with the discourses of foundation of catechesis, mainly the Directory for Catechesis, which provides guiding principles for action. We will finish with planning or returning to reality, but in anticipation, to make catechetical action happen as transformation, renewal or change towards an integral catechesis for life.
