Abstract
The article seeks to present the necessary context and a preliminary approach tounderstanding and addressing the birth control debate in Colombia in the 1960sand 1970s. It covers the main conflicting positions during that period and thediscourses and logics permeating the arrival of North American family planningprograms to Latin America as a form of political control of revolutionarymovements.
