Abstract

The conclusion chapter of this book provides summaries of each chapter. It is noted that the set of works that make up this book clearly show the impact of doing political psychology in the particular setting of Latin America. All the topics they address are related, in one way or another, to structural conditions of inequality, low trust in institutions, and intergroup conflict. But at the same time, they offer an account of various strategies of resistance and resilience and shed light on the potential transforming power of citizens, especially those in the younger generations.
