Abstract

This research addresses the question of how to increase knowledge and make it accessible to all people relying on the information and communication technologies. Basic research is applied to the Chimú culture contained in the Museo de América in Madrid. On-site museum and network museum are taken as an interactive whole which is completed and complemented through a narrative database that integrates and shares media distributing it in all kinds of interfaces. The on-site specificity is marked by unique edutainment immersive interactive systems and interactive applications for mobile devices.
