Abstract
A longitudinal survey data (1956-2008) on the journals of psychology in Colombia was carried out. We identified several changes at various levels of editorial characteristics, related to reconfiguration of the institutional framework and public policy in which the local publication in psychology develops. Overall, this contribution argues that the increase in the productivity of the national psychology is the result of this set of transformations of both the social context and of the journals conceived as of socio-technical artifact.
