AYPUY: A resource management system for collaborative environments

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

The processes developed in collaborative environments involve numerous resources that must be shared according to the confidentiality, distribution and replication requirements of each process. Current proposals to manage resources in collaborative environments have limitations handling these requirements. In most cases, there are general policies for managing resources regardless of the collaborative process in which they are involved. Given this limitation, this paper presents AYPUY, a resource management system created specifically for collaborative environments. AYPUY is based on intelligent agents, which provide the functionality of confidentiality, distribution and replication of resources tailored to the needs of each collaborative process that runs in the collaborative environment.
