Abstract

Objective. Promote adherence to prenatal control in pregnant women attending the Esperanza y Progreso Association. Methodology. A approach was made to pregnant women in vulnerable contexts, attending the Colombian Institute of family welfare - ICBF, with the application of pre-test and post-test in each educational session carried out; the experience of the nursery was taken into account in the interventions. Results and conclusions. It is considered necessary to carry out educational sessions from the health system, so that from other intersectoral actors significant adherence to health follow-ups can be detected, both in prenatal control, and in all stages of the life course, allowing a positive impact on the health of pregnant women in conditions of social vulnerability.
