Young-onset dementia in Colombia.

Taking FTD spectrum dementias as a model, our goal is to enhance the existing knowledge base and research infrastructure in Colombia in order to facilitate international collaborative research studies in young-onset dementia. During the proposal period, and with support from established, NIH-funded resources, we will develop and implement standardized methods of clinical assessment, imaging, genetics, data handling, and data transfer that will create the critical infrastructure necessary for the successful implementation of collaborative research between MCIA and other Latino dementia centers in the US and abroad.
