Description
This investigation tries to identify and analyze the representations and cultural practices that support violence based on gender and its incidence in the sexual and reproductive health among an afro women´s group located in Pradera, a small town in the Valle del Cauca department (state). The investigation results intend to offer important interpretive keys to design an intervention that promotes sexual and reproductive health among the women. The results are presented as inputs for the design and implementation of local interventions of prevention of violence against women - GBV - and the promotion of sexual and reproductive health consistent in content, languages, purposes and methodologies, to ethnic cultural diversity of afro descent women.
