Industry concentration and labor market outcomes: the extent and evolution of employers' monopsonistic power in France (1993-2016)

The objective of the project is to estimate and quantify the causal link between increased concentration on the product market, and the extent of employers' monopsonistic power on the labor market, in France, over the period 1993-2016.The theoretical model developped to measure these effects will then be tested on alternative datasets in other countries that are available at the firm level, such as the Colombian firm-level data.
