Description
This research seeks to identify the impact of collaborative work between language teachers and careers teachers in teaching and learning of disciplinary content through reading and writing. For this purpose, this study is a qualitative approach for educational research. Through a case study design will be analyzed the results that have collaborative work in student learning. Data will be collected by means of various sources and techniques, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, observations and document analysis. For the interpretation of the data will be used content analysis technique. The results of the research intend to contribute to the consolidation of teacher education programs in academic reading and writing, as well as creating effective classroom strategies to harness these processes as tools for teaching - learning. Finally, these results will expect to contribute to the construction of institutional policies aimed at the development of reading and writing as generic skills in training students of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali.
