Description
Identifying necessary skills to facilitate the achievement of the objectives of the Introduction to Programming course. Each generation of students poses a great challenge to teaching/learning methodologies. Introduction to Programming is a course that have increased its importance inside every area of engineering. Years ago program committees thinked about this and they incorporated the course to the curricula. This brings some problems that have not been solved yet, such as low grades and lack of motivation. There have been proposals to solve this problems: adjustments of course requirements in the curriculum, change of methodology and contents, change of assessments, among others. In this project we propose to look for the necessary skills to achieve the objectives of the course in order to contribute to the solution of the problems aforementioned.
