Description
This study aims to identify instructional strategies supported in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), that relying in a constructivist point of view of learning, in two Colombian universities, in order to evaluate if that approach, allow to students improving their learning processes in undergraduate courses. This research propose a quantitative and qualitative approach, by three stages, which are: First Stage, application of a survey to around 300 professors in each university and establishing of correlations with student’s academic performance; Second Stage, analysis of instructional strategies in order to identify levels of construction knowledge in them, then, implementation of focal group methodology with professors and students, in order to deepen in correlations founded previously about instructional strategies supported in ICT and academic performance; Third, writing of products, such as first phase’s final report and articles. The study looks for to develop an intervention program to effective insertion of ICT in academic processes.
