Project Details
Description
This is a proposal for a private issue of banknotes, etched in zinc plates, and printed using several color palettes on printing paper in the traditional Colombian format for banknotes, which is 140 x 70 centimeters. The proposal is for seven (7) different types, which have a design in the front and in the back. The subject matter is defunct local leaders and demolished iconic architecture; symbols that intend to put in value the long forgotten history of the city, and refresh the sense of cultural identity; in a population that is highly apathetic and lacking of a sense of belonging. On the long run, this project could be the first step for developing a set of private notes that could be set in circulation during a big city event.
