Description
The academic field of communication in Colombia consists of knowledge from various disciplines of social sciences and humanities and, linking knowledge and communicative narrative production. The academic field is in tension by the emergence of information and communication technologies and the changes that have generated. Tensions are further amplified when knowledge is intertwined, linked knowledge and responsibility of higher education institutions in charge of training of professionals. This research proposal focuses on teaching. Its purpose is to identify the dominant discourses in the institutions, the market and the state that affect curriculum proposals and structures and know what teaching practices which underlie the formation of communication professionals. The research focuses on the study of documents for registration and accreditation qualified and teaching practices of seven communication programs in the country. The objective is to contribute to the curriculum reform of the Career of Communication at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana - Cali and provide future accreditation process.
