Description
The research serves as a preamble to a line of inquiry in Colombian art History through critical reflection and paradigms reassessment which have been historicizing the Colombian art forms. The way to proceed in this study about unpublished Colombian artists is talking about Emma Reyes, an artist not documented that became an important reference point for modern artists outside the country. Considered mentor, "mother" and artist’s accomplice like Fernando Botero, Luis Caballero, Dario Morales, antonio Barrera and other artists and intellectuals of the sixties and seventies in Colombia. The value of her personal archives are highly relevant in the current discussions about the collections of artistic production.
