Amix – avatar interactivo de realidad mezclada para narrativas educativas en museos

Mixed reality has the potential to enhance user's experience. additionally, avatars have the potential to immerse users in a mixed reality world. However, more development and experimentation is required around interactive mixed reality environments which take the user from an augmented reality world to an augmented virtuality world using natural interactions such as those available in tangible user interfaces (e.g. using real objects to interact with virtual worlds). additionally, an interactive world such as the one described here, should convey a narrative, making knowledge accessible to the user in a natural way. this research project looks forward to integrate hypermedia narrative techniques to a semi- autonomous avatar in a mixed reality world where the user is tracked in a natural way, overcoming limitations of natural feature tracking methods. This way we intend to make some museum's knowledge available and accessible.
