    Personal profile

Master's Degree in Community Psychology. Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá, D.C., Colombia.
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Education, National Pedagogical University, Bogotá, D.C., Colombia.

My areas of research interest and development focus on the analysis, evaluation, and comparison of public policies in education; processes for implementing educational policies at all levels of the educational system; educational and curricular management processes; and educational quality assurance processes. In line with the above, I guide processes of reflection, construction, implementation, and evaluation of Educational and Curricular Projects, in coordination with current educational policies.

My experience focuses on studies with hermeneutic and interpretive approaches, and I work with qualitative research methods. I am currently a member of the Educational Policy research group of the Colombian Association of Education Faculties (ASCOFADE), which focuses on analyzing teacher training policies in order to generate guidelines that contribute to the design of public policy in education in the country. I am also a member of the Training, Subjectivities, and Policy Group of the Faculty of Education at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
