Ph.D in Theology from the Pontifical Xavierian University. Master in Missiology and Social Communication from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome-Italy. Specialist in Mariology from the Faculty of Theology of the Marianum, Rome-Italy. Theologian and Licentiate in Theology from the Pontifical Xavierian University, Bogotá. He is a professor at this university, Director's Assitant of the Theological Formation Center in the same institution. Researcher in the Church Social Thought and Peacebuilding group among others. Coordinator of Continuing Education of the Faculty of Theology. Academic Coordinator of the diploma course: Educational decisions and actions for the implementation of the Global Education Pact. External consultant of the formation area in Caritas Latin America. Advisor of the Pastoral Plan of the Engativá Diocese. Lecturer in the areas of social pastoral, social and community leadership, social transformation, principles of the Social Doctrine of the Church. He has been a guest professor at universities in Colombia and other Latin American countries. Member of the Board of directors of FICONPAZ.
