Doctor in Telecommunications and Master in Technologies, Systems, and Networks from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. Specialist in Business Management from UPV and in Strategic Management from the University of Valencia (UV- Spain). Graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), Colombia.

Currently, I am a professor in the Department of Electronics at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) in Bogotá, Colombia, and also a member of the Communications Systems Research Group (SISCOM Group) at the same university.

My research interests include adaptive transmission of multimedia traffic over wireless mesh/ad hoc networks, network architectures with Quality of Service (QoS), and the technologies and applications of the Internet of Things (IoT).
