Víctor Hugo Ábrego Molina

Víctor Hugo Ábrego is a professor in the Department of Sociocultural Studies at ITESO, where he is also part of the coordination team of Signa_Lab, a laboratory for technological innovation and applied interdisciplinary studies. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Communication, Languages, and Information at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he conducts research on digital flows of information and communication about serious human rights violations in Mexico and Colombia. His interests revolve around critical data studies, sociodigital conditions, and the possibilities of critically approaching the processes of datafication of reality.
