Valentina Guzmán-Pérez is an associate professor in the Department of Nutrition and Biochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of the Pontifical Javeriana University. Her research interests focus on basic nutrition and the effect of bioactive compounds in foods on the prevention of chronic diseases.
