Personal profile
Psychologist, graduate of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, with a Master's degree in Psychology from the National University of Colombia, and currently a Ph.D. student at the Pontifical Javeriana University of Bogotá. She has over ten years of experience in university teaching and research, and is a member of the Human Development, Cognition, and Education research group. Her research career has focused on the analysis of university dropout, the development of biological thinking, and the design of strategies to strengthen life skills in educational contexts. She has participated in projects on early warning models for dropout prevention and in interventions aimed at developing critical-reflective thinking through argumentative practices in high school students. Her publications address topics such as learning biological knowledge, psychoeducational support, dropout prevention, and the strengthening of socio-emotional skills in children and adolescents, including a specialized five-volume collection. She is currently a teaching researcher, actively participates in academic committees and research networks, and coordinates the psychoeducational support program for psychology students. At present, she is exploring pro-environmental notions in childhood to strengthen educational practices focused on care and sustainability.
