Santiago Bernal-Macías has been affiliated with Pontificia Universidad Javeriana since 2021 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine. He is involved in teaching activities in the graduate programs of rheumatology, internal medicine, dermatology, neurology, pain medicine and palliative care, geriatrics, family medicine, and undergraduate medicine. His research focuses on systemic autoimmune diseases.
