My teaching interests have been linked to the history of pedagogical practice and teacher training, the social construction of school curricula in the field of basic and secondary education, and the construction of spiral curricula based on intensive pedagogies to maximize school time. In terms of research, I have focused on school cultures, youth cultures, and the school as a school culture, philosophy curricula in primary and secondary education, literature curricula in primary and secondary education, and social sciences and humanities curricula.
