Overview
Personal profile
I am a PhD student in Economics with a Master's degree in Geography and a background in Economics and Public Administration. I have a solid research track record focused on socio-spatial, environmental, and territorial planning studies. My research interests lie at the intersection of Economics, Geography, and development studies, addressing socio-environmental issues, the impact of conflicts on strategic ecosystems, and, more recently, energy justice and equity in the regional and territorial configuration of Colombia. I am an active member of research groups recognized by MinCiencias, such as the Studies on Urban-Regional Issues in Colombia and the Colombian Group for the Analysis of Media Discourse, both at the National University of Colombia. My academic experience has been materialized in relevant publications, including the book chapter "La Colombia Insular. Construcción territorial del Archipiélago de San Andrés, Providencia y Santa Catalina" and the co-authored article "Esbozo de un análisis socioeconómico del sector agrícola en Colombia".
