Associate Professor, Department of International Relations, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogota). I teach courses on International Political Economy, Regional Integration in Latin America, IR Theory and Qualitative Research Methods. My research broadly focuses on Latin American Regionalism and the political economy of productive transformation and development. 

I am currently interested in issues of epistemology, philosophy of social science and IR theory. I recently finished a project on language and causation in IR. I am currently developing a research project on the possibilities of implementing quantum physics into social science, particularly focused on borders. I also develop research on the political economy of regionalism in Latin America, currently on the possibilities for advancing energy transition at regional scale(s).
