Overview

Personal profile

I am interested in the study of the immune response to infectious diseases and cancer, with focus on the CD8+ T cell response against HIV/HBV infections and solid tumors. In addition, our lab is working on the development of novel strategies for cell reprogramming and related immunotherapies to boost antiviral and antitumor responses, targeting important metabolic and transcriptional circuits.

I am also cofounder and Chief Scientific Officer at CellRep, where we develop cell reprogrammming strategies to improve the efficacy of  cell therapies against cancer and other chronic diseases.
