Personal profile
I have a Ph. D. in Economics from Michigan State University (United States), a Master in Economics from National University of La Plata (Argentina) and Licentiate in Economics from the National University of Tucuman (Argentina). My main fields of interests are applied econometrics, labor markets, informality, fiscal policy, poverty and inequality; other fields of expertise include climate change, extractive industries, natural disasters and industrial organization.
I am currently Director of Undergraduate Studies in Economics and Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana of Bogota. Current Labor Economist for the Technical Assistance and Economic Growth (TAP EG) project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Previously I was consultant of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the World Bank and research assistant at the Center of Studies of State and Society (CEDES).
