Personal profile
I am a Chemical Engineer and Pharmaceutical Chemist with extensive experience in teaching and research. Currently, I am a faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, specializing in the Bioengineering program.
My research explores the intersection of chemical engineering and bioengineering, as well as the study of biotechnological, pharmaceutical, and environmental processes. I have conducted investigations in epigenetics, neurodegenerative disorders, inborn errors of metabolism, and environmental toxicology. Additionally, I have expertise in the in vitro evaluation of neuroprotective properties and antineoplastic effects of plant extracts, contributing to advancements in biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences.
