Personal profile
Oscar Arango has been affiliated with the Pontifical Javeriana University since 1998 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Center for Theological Formation. He teaches across the various academic programs offered by the institution. In the field of research, he has developed projects focused on contextual and interdisciplinary theology, as well as social outreach initiatives with vulnerable communities in diverse regions of the country. His primary research interests address themes such as violence, reconciliation, historical memory, pastoral accompaniment, and active listening.
Throughout his academic career, Professor Arango has published a significant number of scholarly articles, book chapters, and full-length books, solidifying his contributions to both theological and social fields.
