My area of research interest is related to sports and physical activity applied to education sciences and how it impacts physical and mental health in the community.
I have developed research projects related to physical activity for health, the creation and validation of measurement equipment for assessing physical condition in different age groups, as well as in the areas of physiology and biomechanics applied to new technological trends in physical activity and sports in education. My research expertise lies in the generation of new knowledge, human resource training, technological development and innovation, and social appropriation of knowledge, using a quantitative approach, although I have also conducted qualitative research in educational sciences. I am a research associate recognized by Minciencias.
