He received a master’s degree in civil engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), a master’s degree in strategic thinking and foresight from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, Colombia, and PhD degree in engineering from the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), Colombia. He currently works as a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia. His research areas are Construction management, lean construction, building information modeling, and road engineering.
