I am a bacteriologist with a Master’s degree in Infections and Health in the Tropics, deeply committed to the comprehensive education of future professionals in Bacteriology. I have taught courses such as Introduction to Bacteriology, University Clinical Placement, and Specialized Professional Practicum, which have allowed me to support students at key stages of their academic journey—from their initial introduction to the profession to their progressive engagement in real-world practice settings, including clinical, research, and quality management environments.
My work has focused on providing integral guidance throughout the educational process, particularly in practice-based courses, where I combine academic, ethical, and professional components. As Coordinator of Formative Practices, I have strengthened the articulation between the university and healthcare institutions, building a network of diverse and high-quality practice settings. This has ensured that students develop in environments that support the achievement of expected learning outcomes, always with a student-centered and socially responsible approach.
My experience also includes coordinating inter-institutional agreements and actively participating in academic and institutional processes, such as the Curriculum Committee and the self-assessment process for the program’s high-quality accreditation. These responsibilities have given me a broad and integrated perspective of the educational project—from academic planning to engagement with the professional field.
In addition, I bring experience from the healthcare sector, particularly in quality management, applied research, staff training, and technical documentation. This comprehensive view of the profession enables me to contribute meaningfully to the education of bacteriologists who are committed to academic excellence, ethical practice, and social transformation through their disciplinary work.
