Full-time professor and researcher with a master's degree in International Relations and a background in Information Science from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Bogotá, Colombia).
I specialize in information analysis within the contexts of science, technology, and innovation, with experience in bibliometrics, research management, and the evaluation of scientific output. My career combines teaching, research, and academic leadership, focusing on data-driven decision-making and policy formulation. I have worked with institutions such as the Colombian Observatory of Science and Technology, Universidad del Rosario, the Bogotá City Hall, and the UNDP. Currently, I represent Latin America in the News Media Section of IFLA and conduct research on alternative metrics and open access in the region.
I have advanced English proficiency (TOEFL 114/120) and intermediate French proficiency.
