    MD Pediatrician Neonatologist with a Master's Degree in Clinical Epidemiology. PhD candidate in Clinical Epidemiology at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Master in Public Health candidate at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with more than 26 years of clinical and teaching experience. 

    My academic and research work focuses on neonatal care, preterm infant nutrition, and Kangaroo Mother Care, with a strong emphasis on clinical research, long-term outcomes, and evidence-based practice. I have participated in the development of national clinical practice guidelines and have published extensively in international peer-reviewed journals. My main strengths include translational research, critical appraisal of evidence, and the integration of clinical practice, teaching, and public health.
