Personal profile
awyer from the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga, with a specialization in Procedural Law from Universidad del Rosario and a Master’s degree in Administrative Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. She also holds a Master’s degree in the Prevention of Gender-Based Violence from the University of Salamanca (Spain). She is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Legal Sciences at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, conducting research on the internal democratization processes of political parties in Colombia from a perspective of gender equity and equality.
Throughout her professional career, she has held various positions in the public and academic sectors, including: Legal Assistant at the Labor Chamber of the Superior Court of Bucaramanga, Legal Advisor at the Legislative Technical Assistance Unit of the Congress of the Republic, Attorney in Public Contracting at the Ministry of Defense, and Legal Advisor to the Vice-Rector’s Office at the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. She has also served as a part-time university lecturer in several higher education institutions.
Her academic and professional experience focuses on the critical analysis of law, institutional strengthening, and the promotion of public policies with a gender and human rights approach, integrating legal research with professional practice and a commitment to substantive equality and social justice.
