Personal profile
Professional in Applied Biology from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, with a Master's degree in Bioinformatics (distinguished thesis) from the National University of Colombia, and currently a PhD candidate in Biological Sciences at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. His research focuses on systems biology, computational modeling, and genome-scale metabolic model reconstruction to study neurodegenerative processes. He has experience in multi-omics data integration, structural bioinformatics, and protein-ligand interaction analysis. He has participated in interdisciplinary national and international projects and has a strong interest in teaching bioinformatics, systems biology, and neuroscience.
