    Personal profile

    Assistant Professor

Department of Mathematics – Pontificia Universidad Javeriana**

I am a full-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, where I engage in teaching, research, and methodological support for interdisciplinary projects. My work focuses on applied statistics, particularly its connections with public health, quantitative epidemiology, and population data analysis.

I collaborate with the Public Health area in study design, selection of statistical methods, data management and cleaning, and the rigorous interpretation of analytical results. I also teach courses in Descriptive Statistics, Biostatistics, and Graduate Statistics, including virtual modalities for advanced academic programs.

I have contributed to research initiatives and academic projects that have resulted in scientific publications, particularly on topics such as epidemiological surveillance, population risk assessment, and poisoning-related events.

My academic work combines statistical rigor, interdisciplinary training, and a strong commitment to the ethical and responsible use of data to support health-related decision-making.
