    Personal profile

    Natalia is an Architect and Civil Engineer from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (PUJ) and holds a Master's degree in Architettura, Costruzione, Città from Politecnico di Torino. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Engineering at Universidad de los Andes, where her research focuses on technological innovation in construction, particularly the digitalization and sustainable industrialization of the AECO sector in Latin America.

    Throughout her career, Natalia has led BIM projects, provided consultancy, and conducted training in digital transformation for public and private organizations in Colombia. Her studies on Construction 4.0, automation, and immersive learning environments have been published in high-impact scientific journals and presented at national and international conferences. She has contributed to the development of educational innovation products, including MOOCs and the Master's program in Construction Innovation, emphasizing digital and sustainable construction. Currently, Natalia is a full-time professor at PUJ, an active member of the BIM Academic Forum Colombia, and part of the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB).
